Jackpine Mine Socio-Economic Impact Review

For the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB), Applications conducted a comprehensive review of the Jackpine Mine Socio-Economic Impact analysis prepared for Shell in support of their application before the ERCB. This review included an evaluation of the proposed population and growth implications of the project and cumulative impacts of other proposed projects on the RMWB. Further, the review focused on the financial implications of growth on the municipality and its ability to keep pace with growth and the infrastructure investment required to support this growth.
