Employment Demand Analysis

For the Edmonton Economic Development Corporation (EEDC), Applications prepared detailed employment forecasts by 4 digit National Occupation Classification (NOC) using Applications’ employment demand forecasting model. This analysis included the projection of economic growth for each major industry sector in the Capital Region and associated employment growth and productivity changes that could be expected over the forecast period. The results of the analysis were presented by economic ‘cluster’ which required modifications to the forecasting model, converting NAICS industry groups to the EEDCs clusters.
