Edmonton Public Schools Enrolment Forecasts Neighborhood planning requires the proper development and placement of schools to complete. In order to maximize the utilization of existing school capacity and plan for future capacity needs, it is important that population and student enrolment growth be tracked and projected at a neighborhood and grade/school level. Projections are a reflection of various factors, including: the socio-economic and demographic characterisitcs of the local neighborhoods; the programming offered at the school and the policies regarding attendance areas and transportation.
